SAN DIEGO – California sits tied for sixth after the first of three rounds at the SDSU Farms Invitational held at The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.

Nicola Rössler and Lucia Gutierrez lead the Bears with identical 74’s (+2) to sit tied for 20th on the individual leaderboard. Sophomore Hannah Suh finished one stroke behind at 75 (+3). Jo Ee Kok (80, +8) and Carly Childs (83, +11) rounded out the Golden Bear effort.

UCLA leads in the team standings with a 285 (-3) with the Bears just 16 strokes behind with a 303 (+13).

Competition resumes Tuesday beginning at 8 a.m. PT.
