BERKELEY – Fourteenth-ranked California competes at the home for the first time in a month when it hosts No. 4 Stanford - the defending NCAA champion - in the Big Slam on Saturday at noon. Due to the ongoing renovation work at the Hellman Tennis Complex, the Golden Bears (5-3) and Cardinal (7-0) will clash at the Channing Tennis Courts.

The rivals split their two dual matches last season. The Cardinal won at home, 6-1, on March 2, while the Bears won, 4-3, on April 19 at home.
