Davis heads into the 2014 season listed as the team’s starter at the outside receiver ‘X’ position after moving into a starting role at the position during spring practice. Davis was one of Cal’s top offensive scout team players during the 2013 campaign when he sat out due to NCAA transfer rules following two seasons at Hawai’i, where he played in 2011 and 2012 and compiled 45 catches for 601 yards and five touchdowns over 15 games played and 10 starts. He prepped locally at Alhambra High School in Martinez, where he earned All-Diablo Football Athletic League honors as a senior in 2010.

► Changed his number to his current No. 9 beginning with 2014 spring practices after he wore No. 82 in his first season with Cal in 2013

► Recorded combined two-season totals of 45 catches for 601 yards and five touchdowns
► Caught 28 passes for 366 yards as a freshman and had 17 receptions for 235 yards and two scores during his sophomore campaign
► Posted a career-high seven catches for 85 yards and a career-best two touchdowns against Tulane as a freshman
► Had a career-high 111 receiving yards on six catches with one touchdown during his freshman season against BYU with a 79-yard touchdown catch that was the longest of his career also against the Cougars

Alhambra HS (Class of 2011)
► Played in the Holiday Classic All-Star Game between the top talent from Sacramento and the East Bay following his 2010 senior season
► Listed among the top 20 football prospects in the East Bay as a senior when he hauled in 43 catches for 876 yards and nine touchdowns to earn All-Diablo Football Athletic League and honorable mention All-Metro honors
► Had nine receptions for 185 yards and one touchdown against Miramonte during his senior season, while hauling in touchdown catches of 78 and 64 yards vs. Dougherty Valley
► Earned second-team All-DFAL recognition as a 2009 junior when he tallied 27 catches for 504 yards and helped lead his squad to a conference title, an 11-2 overall mark and a 6-0 league record

► Also participated in track and field for three seasons, competing in the long jump, triple jump and sprint events

► 247Sports Composite had him among its list of the nation’s top players overall (No. 2270) in the 2011 recruiting class, while he was the No. 217 prep player overall in the state of California
► ESPN listed him as its No. 168 high school player in the state of California in the class of 2011, as well as its No. 264 player overall in his region
► Received a Scout grade of 73 from ESPN, while he graded out at 70 by 247Sports and 0.7000 according to 247Sports Composite, while he received a 5.5 rating by Rivals
