Neumayr, who missed the 2011 and 2012 seasons rehabbing from multiple knee injuries, played her first season with the Bears in 2013 and started 30 of Cal’s 31 matches. She 1.68 kills and 2.82 digs per set.
Parrott got into 18 matches last year, starting two.
Both Neumayr and Parrott will remain at Cal as students.
“We are sorry that Michelle and Lindsey have decided to leave the team,” Feller said. “This was a decision they made for personal reasons. They both felt it would be best for them to retire from college volleyball. They intend to continue their education at Cal. Personally, I want to thank them for all their hard work over the last three years and wish them the best as they progress toward their Cal degree.”
