Atoe was a first-team All-Northern California Football Association NorCal Conference performer in 2013 for a College of San Mateo team that won the Bothman Bulldog Bowl and posted a 10-1 record with its lone loss to state champion and unbeaten Butte College. He had 41 stops and 11.5 tackles for loss (-42 yards) for a defensive unit that ranked among the state’s leaders in total defense (3rd, 284.3 ypg), scoring defense (4th, 17.9 ppg), rush defense (5th, 105.1) and pass defense (9th, 179.2 ypg).

College of San Mateo (2012-13)
*Earned All-NorCal Conference honors as a 2013 sophomore when he posted 41 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss (-42 yards), 3.5 sacks (-23 yards), one pass breakup and one blocked kick, while also returning nine kickoffs for a 29.7 yard average and four kickoffs for a total of 27 yards for a team that won the Bothman Bulldog Bowl, posted a 10-1 record with its lone loss to state champion and unbeaten Butte College

*Ran for over 1,000 yards on 100 carries and scored 11 touchdowns to earn first-team All-Redwood Empire and All-North Bay League honors for his 2010 senior squad that finished 7-5 overall and 5-2 in the North Bay League while reaching the quarterfinals of the North Coast Section playoffs

*Earned North Bay League MVP honors as a 2009 junior when he rushed for 900 yards and 17 touchdowns, while adding 77 tackles, 3.0 sacks and three fumble recoveries as a strong safety

*Earned second-team All-Empire League honors at both running back and safety as a 2008 sophomore

*Rated as high as the No. 164 junior college player overall in the 2014 recruiting class according to 247Sports, while 247Sports Composite has him at No. 212

*Listed as the No. 8 junior college safety in the nation according to 247Sports and Scout, while 247Sports Composite has him at No. 13

*Rated as the No. 44 junior college player overall in the state of California, while 247Sports Composite has him at No. 265

*A three-star recruit according to 247Sports, 247Sports Composite and ESPN, while Rivals and Scout both give him two

*Earned a rating of 82 from 247Sports, while he also picked up a 0.7993 rating from 247Sports Composite, a 73 grade from ESPN and a 5.4 rating according to Rivals

*Ranked as high as the nation’s No. 50 running back overall according to Rivals coming out of high school in the 2011 recruiting class, while he was a three-star recruit of Rivals and given two stars by 247Sports, 247Sports Composite, ESPN and Scout

*247Sports Composite had him among its list of the nation’s top athletes (No. 96) and players overall (No. 1457) in the recruiting class of 2011, while he was the No. 134 prep player overall in the state of California

*ESPN listed him as its No. 128 high school player in the state of California in the class of 2011, as well as its No. 145 athlete and No. 198 player overall in his region

*Earned National Underclassman Combine MVP honors at 2010 event at Rio Linda High School

*Participated in the Rivals Five-Star Academy at Cal and the Palo Alto Nike Camp in 2010
