Franklin captured the 200-yard freestyle in a school- and meet-record 1:41.04 and took first place in the 100-yard backstroke. She was also second in the 500 free in a school-record 4:34.63 and runner-up to teammate Elizabeth Pelton in the 200 back.

In addition to her individual performance, Franklin swam a leg on three victorious relays – the 400 and 800 free relay and the 400 medley relay. Franklin joined teammates Caroline Piehl, Camille Cheng and Elizabeth Pelton to set a meet-record 6:59.11 in the 800 freestyle relay.
