EL PASO, Tex. – Michael Kim and Michael Weaver opened play Monday at the two-day, 54-hole Sun Bowl Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic at the El Paso Country Club. Kim (69-69 – 138, -4) is in seventh place four shots off the pace of 36-hole leader Cory Whitsett of Alabama (66-68 – 134, -8). Weaver (76-69 – 145, +3) is tied for 19th.

The event concludes Tuesday with the final 18 holes beginning at 8:30 a.m. MT/6:30 a.m. PT.

Cal will return to action to open its 2014 spring season January 27-28 at the Arizona Intercollegiate.
