BERKELEY - California Golden Bears midfielder Alec Sundly was named the College Soccer News National Player of the Week, the website announced Monday. The senior from Capistrano Beach, Calif. factored in all three of Cal's goals in their NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament win in the second round on Sunday in a win over Bradley. He scored the first and third goals of the match, and added an assist on defender Steve Birnbaum's goal in the 35th minute of play. Sundly has now scored in three consecutive matches, dating back to Nov. 10 at Washington.

The fourth-seeded Bears (13-4-2, 6-3-1 Pac-12) host Coastal Carolina (19-4, 9-1 Big South) on Sunday, Dec. 1 at Goldman Field at 1:30 p.m. PT in a third round match. Fans can purchase tickets on the day of the game at Edwards Stadium's box office with cash only. Adults are $10, while seniors, students and youths cost $5 per ticket.
