AUSTIN, TEXAS – Senior Tyler Pullen produced the top performance for the Cal men’s diving team Saturday (Nov. 23) at the University of Texas Diving Invitational, placing seventh on the platform with a score of 306.35. Pullen, from Pleasanton, Calif., led the Golden Bear contingent that included fellow senior Grayson Huston placing 10th (279.75) and sophomore Peter Cyr finishing 12th (245.00).

Pullen’s seventh place on the platform was the top finish for coach Todd Mulzet’s crew during the three-day competition in Austin. On Friday, Cal’s top finish on the three-meter board was Cyr placing 13th (312.55), and on Thursday, Pullen was 17th on the one-meter board (243.60).

The Bears faced divers from the host Longhorns, Arizona State, Miami, Hawaii, Texas Christian and Wisconsin at the Texas Invite. The Cal divers will next compete at the Bruin Diving Invitational in Los Angeles, Jan. 10-12.
