LAHAINA, Hawaii - California senior guard Jeff Powers recaps the Golden Bears first day in Maui.

Following a nearly six-hour plan ride from Oakland, Cal arrived in Maui around 4 p.m. local time. The Bears went right to the Lahaina Civic Center, host of the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational.

After a good practice, the team went to one of the many exciting events put on by the tournamnet, the EA SPORTD Video Game Challenge. Senior Justin Cobbs was Cal's representative in the tournament. A good night's rest followed before practice in the morning.

Cal will face Arkansas on Monday, Nov. 25, at 12 p.m. (PT) in its first game of the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational. The game will be televised on ESPN2 with radio coverage in the Bay Area on KSFO 560 AM.
