KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The California women’s soccer team has earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for the 2012-13 academic year, the organization announced today.

The Golden Bears are among 863 soccer teams (270 men, 593 women) who posted a collective team grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the 2012-13 academic year. Cal’s 29 players on last year’s squad combined for a 3.34 team GPA.
