BERKELEY – California junior midfielder Lara Kruggel has been named the NorPac West Co-Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two goals in Cal’s victory against UC Davis this past weekend.
Kruggel helped end California’s five-game losing streak by scoring two first-half goals Sunday against UC Davis in a 3-1 California win. The goals were the fifth and sixth of the season for Kruggel, pushing her to first on the team in goals and points despite only playing in 9 of 14 games due to injury.

She now moves to sixth on the California all-time points list with 79 career points and seventh on the all-time list with 32 career goals.

The Bears travel to the east coast this weekend to take on Boston (October 25) and Maine (October 27) in Boston, Mas.
