BERKELEY – Head coach Sonny Dykes announced Thursday that junior wide receiver Bryce McGovern will serve as a game captain for the Golden Bears’ contest against Oregon State at Memorial Stadium this Saturday, Oct. 19 (7:30 p.m. PT). The Cal-Oregon State game will be televised live by ESPN2.
McGovern will join season captains Jackson Bouza, Deandre Coleman, Stefan McClure and Freddie Tagaloa in leadership roles against the Beavers. McClure is out for the season with a knee injury.

*The Pac-12 announced Monday that the Cal-Washington game at Husky Stadium in Seattle on Saturday, Oct. 26, will kick off at 8 p.m. PT. The contest will be televised live by FOX Sports 1.

*In addition to the contest against Oregon State, the Bears also have Pac-12 home games against Arizona (Nov. 2) and USC (Nov. 9) remaining on their schedule. In addition to the Washington contest, Cal will play conference games on the road at Colorado (Nov. 16) and Stanford (Nov. 23). All 2013 Cal football games will be televised with currently unannounced telecast information and kickoff times to be announced either 12 or six days in advance of each game.
