The Buffs have just three losses this season, with two losses on the road at Washington State and Denver. Of Colorado’s 11 wins, eight were shutouts thanks to Annie Brunner’s solid work in goal. Brunner has allowed 11 goals this season while making 39 saves. A pair of players on offense have been the difference makers for Colorado’s 24-goal season. Freshman Brie Hooks has quickly emerged as one of the team’s best players with seven goals and one assist, while senior Anne Stuller leads the team with eight goals and six assists for a whopping 22 points. Colorado ranks first in the league for shots thanks to Stuller, who has 67 on the season.

LAST TIME OUT - STREAK SNAPPED
No. 2 UCLA dealt No. 8 Cal its first loss of the season with a 1-0 victory on Sunday to snap the Blue & Gold’s 13-game unbeaten streak. Before Sunday’s match, the Bears hosted USC, where the teams played to a 1-1 tie in double overtime. Rachel Mercik scored her career-high fifth goal of the season in the match vs. the Women of Troy.
ON THE HORIZON - HITTIN’ THE ROAD
Cal’s final five matches of the regular season will be on the road, beginning first in the Beaver State as the Bears meet Oregon State in Corvallis on Firday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m., then travel to Eugene for a match vs. Oregon on Monday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m.
