Grimes, Birnbaum and Neil to Talk About the Bears' Unbeaten Season

BERKELEY – Head coach Kevin Grimes and players Steve Birnbaum and Ryan Neil will talk about the No. 1 California men’s soccer team’s undefeated season on “Yahoo! SportsTalk Live” today from 5-6 p.m. PT on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.

CSN California will air a delayed broadcast of the show at 6 p.m., while CSN Bay Area will replay the show at 11 p.m.

Birnbaum, a fifth-year senior defender and co-captain, leads the Pac-12 Conference in points (15) and goals (7) after starting in all 11 games so far this season. Neil, a senior midfielder, has played in 10 of 11 games and is tied for the team high in assists (4) with junior midfielder Seth Casiple.

The “Pac-12 Sports Report” featured the Cal men’s soccer team on Monday night on the Pac-12 Networks. Fans can watch that segment on the conference website here

Ranked No. 1 in the NSCAA, Soccer America, and polls this week, Cal (9-0-2, 3-0-1 in the Pac-12) hosts Stanford (6-3-2. 1-2-1 Pac-12) on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 2:30 p.m. in a match to air on the Pac-12 Networks.
