BERKELEY – The Pac-12 announced Monday that the Cal-UCLA game at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, Oct. 12, will kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT. The contest will be televised on either ESPN2 or ESPNU with that announcement to be made either this Saturday or Sunday.

The Golden Bears defeated the Bruins, 43-17, the last time the teams met during the 2012 season at Memorial Stadium against a UCLA team that would go on to win the Pac-12’s South Division title. Cal has won four of the last five meetings between the teams overall, including a 45-26 win at the Rose Bowl in 2009.

*Cal will next play in its Pac-12 home opener and Homecoming Game against Washington State on Alumni & Family Weekend at Cal this Saturday, Oct. 5 (1 p.m. PT). The Cal-Washington State game will be televised live by FOX Sports 1 with a simulcast on FOX Deportes.

*An audio broadcast of all Cal football games can be heard live on the Cal IMG Sports Network, with KGO 810 AM in San Francisco serving as the flagship station. The audio broadcast is also available online at via TuneIn.

*In addition to the contest against Washington State, the Golden Bears also have Pac-12 home games against Oregon State (Oct. 19), Arizona (Nov. 2) and USC (Nov. 9) remaining on the schedule. In addition to the UCLA contest, Cal will play conference games on the road at Washington (Oct. 26), Colorado (Nov. 16) and Stanford (Nov. 23). All 2013 Cal football games will be televised with currently unannounced telecast information and kickoff times to be announced either 12 or six days in advance of each game.
