California women's lacrosse head coach Ginger Miles has been selected to be the defensive coordinator for Team Scotland as announced on Sept. 26 by the squad's head coach, Dave Simpson.

The team will compete in the Home Internationals competition in March of 2014.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be joining the Lacrosse Scotland staff," Miles said. "I am looking forward to working with Coach Simpson and Coach Loecker and the assistant coaches to help further the success of this long-standing international program. Team Scotland has a strong foundation and history and it will be exciting to build on the team’s success this past summer at World Cup.”

Miles completed her second season at the helm for the Golden Bears this past spring. She owns a 17-15 overall record at Cal, and has helped guide former Cal standout Megan Takacs to back-to-back MPSF Player of the Year honors as well as becoming the program's first All-American.
