Augustus, Onstead Join Dykes on ITLR

Cal women's tennis head coach Amanda Augustus and field hockey head coach Shellie Onstead will appear on this week's edition of Inside the Locker Room presented by Weatherford BMW of Berkeley with football head coach Sonny Dykes, defensive coordinator/linebackers coach Andy Buh and defensive back Stefan McClure. Fans are invited to tune in to Cal’s weekly radio show on KGO AM 810 or watch in person from the Field Club inside Memorial Stadium. The program will air on Wednesday each week from 7-8 p.m. through March.

The 1-2 Cal football team treks to Eugene, Ore., this week for the first road game of the season and the Pac-12 opener against second-ranked Oregon on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 7:30 p.m. from Autzen Stadium. The game will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks, or Cal fans can tune in to KGO AM 810. McClure, who ranks fourth on the team in tackles this season with 21, and the rest of the Cal defense will attempt to slow down the Oregon offense that currently ranks No. 2 in the nation. 

Augustus and the Cal women's tennis team opens the fall portion of its schedule this weekend, hosting the Cal Nike Invitational at the Hellman Tennis Complex. The three-day tournament runs from Friday, Sept. 27, through Sunday, Sept. 29. 

Onstead and the 3-4 Cal field hockey team host Pacific in back-to-back games at Maxwell Family Field on Friday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Sept. 29, at noon. Sunday's game can be seen on the Pac-12 Networks. The Bears are 2-0 thus far in 2013 when playing in Berkeley. 

Hosted by Todd McKim, Inside the Locker Room features guests from throughout Cal Athletics. In the fall, listeners can expect to hear from Dykes each week, along with players and assistant coaches. In addition, student-athletes and coaches from Cal’s Olympic sports and others with Golden Bear ties will make regular appearances.

Fans coming to the Field Club should enter Memorial Stadium through Gate 2 at the northwest corner of the facility. Cal Dining will offer food for sale, including such items as hamburgers, hot dogs, wings, Portobello sandwiches and sweet potato fries.
