OAKLAND – Cal head football coach Sonny Dykes will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Monday night’s Major League Baseball game between the Oakland A’s and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at the O.co Coliseum. The game begins at 7:05 p.m. PT.
Cal is currently in its bye week and will next play in its Pac-12 opener at Oregon on Saturday, Sept. 28 (7:30 p.m. PT). The Cal-Oregon game will be televised live by the Pac-12 Networks and can also be heard on KGO 810 AM and the Cal IMG Sports Network.
*Cal’s next home game at Memorial Stadium will be its conference home opener against Washington State on Alumni & Family Weekend (Oct. 5). The Golden Bears also have Pac-12 home games against Oregon State (Oct. 19), Arizona (Nov. 2) and USC (Nov. 9). In addition to the Oregon contest, Cal will play conference games on the road at UCLA (Oct. 12), Washington (Oct. 26), Colorado (Nov. 16) and Stanford (Nov. 23). All 2013 Cal football games will be televised with currently unannounced telecast information and kickoff times to be announced either 12 days or six days in advance of each game.
