BERKELEY – Fans wishing to attend this Saturday’s highly anticipated Cal-Ohio State game at Memorial Stadium can still purchase tickets at CalBears.com or by calling 1-800-GO BEARS. Less than 1,000 tickets remain to see the Golden Bears take on a Buckeyes team making its first appearance in Berkeley since 1972.
Fans purchasing tickets in advance will save $5 while being able to select their own seat from those that remain and avoid potentially long lines at the ticket windows on game day.
*FOX College Saturday will be at Cal for the game against Ohio State on Saturday. The event will take place at Kroeber Plaza at the corner of Bancroft Way and College Avenue (between Boalt Hall and Kroeber Hall) from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. PT. FOX Sports 1 will televise the event live beginning at 11:30 a.m. PT with sideline reporter Kristina Pink serving as the host. Fans are encouraged to show their spirit by wearing blue and gold and bringing signs to display on the telecast. The California Marching Band, spirit groups and Rally Committee will also be making appearances. *Check out the pre-game prep rally Friday just after noon PT at Sproul Plaza. The event will feature the California Marching Band and Cal Spirit Groups.
*Cal fans are asked to join the excitement Saturday against Ohio State by participating in the first-ever stadium-wide “Stripe Out” at Memorial Stadium. All those in attendance are asked to wear either blue or gold depending on which section they sit in for the game. Color designations for the “Stripe Out” can be found at CalBears.com. Fans are also encouraged to share their gameday photos displaying their colors by using the hashtag #StripeMemorial on Twitter and Instagram.

*Cal wraps up its season-opening three-game homestand at Memorial Stadium against Ohio State this Saturday before its bye week and first road contest of the season at Oregon on Saturday, Sept. 28 (Pac-12 Networks). Cal’s next home game following the Ohio State contest will be its Pac-12 home opener against Washington State on Alumni & Family Weekend (Oct. 5). The Golden Bears also have home Pac-12 game against Oregon State (Oct. 19), Arizona (Nov. 2) and USC (Nov. 9). In addition to the Oregon contest, Cal will play conference games on the road at UCLA (Oct. 12), Washington (Oct. 26), Colorado (Nov. 16) and Stanford (Nov. 23). All 2013 Cal football games will be televised with currently unannounced telecast information and kickoff times to be announced either 12 days or six days in advance of the game.
