Six Players Earn Team Honors After Portland State Win

Davison, Drew, Geringer, Gingold, Jackson and Okwudiafor honored for performances in victory over Vikings.

BERKELEY – Head coach Sonny Dykes announced weekly honors Wednesday for the performances of players during and the week prior to the team’s win over Portland State. The honors will be awarded following victories.

Special Teams Player of the Game

NOTES …

*Cal’s next game against Ohio State at Memorial Stadium is this Saturday, Sept. 14. The contest will be televised live nationally by FOX with a kickoff time scheduled for 4 p.m. PT. The game can also be listened to on the Cal IMG Sports Network and flagship radio station KGO 810 AM. The Cal-Ohio State game will conclude a three-game homestand to open the season. The Golden Bears will also play Pac-12 home games against Washington State on Homecoming Weekend (Oct. 5), Oregon State (Oct. 19), Arizona (Nov. 2) and USC (Nov. 9).
