Cal men's water polo head coach Kirk Everist and cross country head coack Tony Sandoval will appear on this week's edition of Inside the Locker Room presented by Weatherford BMW of Berkeley with football head coach Sonny Dykes, running backs coach Pierre Ingram and running back Brendan Bigelow. Fans are invited to tune in to Cal’s weekly radio show on KGO AM 810 or watch in person from the Field Club inside Memorial Stadium. The program will air on Wednesday each week from 7-8 p.m. through March.

Cal picked up it's first win of the season last Saturday against Portland State, 37-30. Jared Goff passed for 485 yards. The true freshman quarterback has now thrown for over 400 yards in back-to-back games. He currently leads the nation in passing and total offense.
This week, the Bears take on a top-five ranked team when they host Ohio State on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 4 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. The game will be broadcast nationally on FOX, or Cal fans can tune in to KGO AM 810.
Everist and the fourth-ranked men's water polo team is currently 4-0 after picking up four last weekend over Loyola Marymount, UC Davis, Redlands and UC San Diego. Between the four matches, Cal outscored its opponents, 66-24. This week, the Bears will host their alumni game on Saturday, Sept. 14, at noon before hosting the NorCal Tournament the following weekend.
Sandoval and the Cal cross country team ran in the season opener back on Aug. 31 at the USF Invitational. Kelsey Santisteban captured the women’s individual title and fellow junior Chris Walden place second individually at the event. The Bears compete next at the Panorama Farms Invitational in Charlottesville, VA. and at the Stanford Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 28.
Hosted by Todd McKim, Inside the Locker Room features guests from throughout Cal Athletics. In the fall, listeners can expect to hear from Dykes each week, along with players and assistant coaches. In addition, student-athletes and coaches from Cal’s Olympic sports and others with Golden Bear ties will make regular appearances.
Fans coming to the Field Club should enter Memorial Stadium through Gate 2 at the northwest corner of the facility. Cal Dining will offer food for sale, including such items as hamburgers, hot dogs, wings, Portobello sandwiches and sweet potato fries.
