As the month of June winds down, so does the opportunity to take part in The Eckles Challenge. On Saturday, June 29, the Cal Calling Center will hold a marathon calling day reaching out to Cal Athletics donors past and present to take The Eckles Challenge.
Cal alumnus David Eckles (MBA '73) inspired this month-long push in support of Cal Athletics through a $500,000 one-time grant directed to the areas of most need. The Eckles Challenge strives to exponentially increase the percentage of Cal alumni and fans who give in support of the more than 850 Golden Bear student-athletes.
During the month of June, all donors and fans are encouraged to take The Challenge by:
- renewing a gift;
- making a new gift;
- encouraging other fans and alumni to give.
In the spirit of The Eckles Challenge, 14 athletic programs were selected to participate.
Can't decide which one? Support them all with a gift to the Cal Athletics Fund:
So when the phone rings on Saturday, will YOU take The Challenge?
