Three Seniors Named All-MPSF

BERKELEY - Seniors Dana Ochsner and Breda Vosters each earned All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation honors, it was announced Wednesday.

Csikos was named to the All-MPSF Second Team while Ochsner and Vosters garnered All-MPSF honorable mention.

It was the third time each player has earned All-MPSF honors in her career.

Csikos, who took last season off to train with the Canadian National Team, led the Bears this season with 49 goals and leaves Cal as the program's all-time leading scorer with 216 in her career. Csikos was a first team All-American in 2010 and 2011 and an honorable mention All-American in 2009.

This marks the third straight season Ochsner was named to the All-MPSF second team. She was also a second team All-American after each of the past two seasons. Ochsner scored 23 goals this season.

Vosters was named to the All-MPSF second team as a sophomore and the first team last season, when she also was a first team All-American. Vosters scored 29 goals this season and was third on the team with a 1.45 goals average.

The Bears wrapped up the 2013 last weekend by taking fifth place at the MPSF Championships at Spieker Aquatics Complex. Cal finished the season with a record of 17-7.
