Played in 14 games of the regular season with three runs scored...Made her first collegiate start at second base (5/5) vs. Stanford... Scored her first collegiate run against Arizona (4/3) after entering the game to pinch run
As a Freshman (2012):
Played in 16 games at either second or pinch hitter...had one RBI and one walk.
Team captain of the Torrey Pines HS varsity softball squad...Torrey Pines Scholar-Athlete in each of her four years of high school...As a senior, given the Varsity Golden Falcon Award, an All-Palomar League Honorable Mention and landed on the San Diego Union Tribune All-Academic Team... Destined to be a Bear:
Mary's Cal roots run deeper than any of the other first years for she has been a Golden Bear fan for years. Lee attended her first Cal football game at age three and her first softball game - one against Stanford - at age 10, so selecting Berkeley was an easy choice for the San Diego native. Her father, Jason, attended Cal.
Why I have my number:
When No. 22 was offered to me, I was excited to have it. I was No. 2 in high school, so what could be better than two No. 2's?
