Brings her Olympic experience to the field for her senior season … a three-year starter who has won 47 games in her career … holds Cal season (4) and career (8) save records … pitches well in pressure situations. As a Sophomore: DiSalvio began the season with a perfect game, an 8-0 shutout of San Jose State … the perfect game was the first for a Cal pitcher since Michele Granger beat Nebraska in 1993 … did not give up a run in her first 25 innings, which also included a shutout of Florida State and a no-hitter against Georgia … only the fifth pitcher in school history to throw two no-hitters in the same season … nearly had a third no-hitter at Hawaii, holding the Rainbow Wahine with out a base hit through 6.2 innings and settled with a one-hitter … after getting off to a 9-2 start, watched her record fall to 10-10 with losses in her first eight Pac-10 decisions … came back to win nine of her last 11 decisions, posting a 0.76 ERA during that span … during the stretch, beat Arizona, 5-1, on a two-hitter and Oregon, 3-0, on a four-hitter … named to the all-tournament teams at both the National Invitational Softball Tournament and the Bank of Hawaii Tournament and at the NCAA regional … struck out a season-high eight batters vs. Cal Poly … had eight complete-game shutouts … surrendered just four home runs … earned honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic.
