High School: Selected 2002 Gatorade Washington Player of the Year as a senior as well as a second team All-American ... helped Shorecrest HS to a combined 50-5 record in junior (4A state champions) and senior (4A state runners-up) seasons ... selected first team All-WestCoast three seasons ... named Area Player of the Year as a senior and Shorecrest HS Spring Athlete and Senior Athlete of the Year for 2002 ... recorded over 800 strikeouts between sophomore and senior seasons and pitched three perfect games ... member of the ASA Ladyhawks club team ... also a member of the National Honor Society, wind ensemble and marching band at Shorecrest HS.
