Coulter begins her first full season on the Cal basketball team after exhausting four years of eligibility on the Bears volleyball team…practiced with the basketball team towards the last several weeks of the 1999-00 season…hard working wing player…shows good leadership abilities…adds a physical presence to the team.

Cal Volleyball:
Four-year starter at outside hitter…earned honorable mention All-Pac-10 as a senior in 1999-00…finished her career as Cal's service ace leader with 162…also tied for sixth on Cal's career chart with 1121 digs and ranked seventh for kills with 966…in 1998, finished fourth in the nation and led the Pac-10 in service aces with 56, which is the third-best all-time Cal season mark…as a junior team captain, set the Cal record with 9 aces in a game vs. Oregon…had an immediate impact as a freshman despite being hampered by a back injury…selected Pac-10 All-Freshman honorable mention.

High School:
In basketball, was an all-conference pick as a junior and senior when she led Rocky Mountain HS in scoring and rebounding…as a senior in basketball, selected the Northern Conference Player of the Year, honorable mention all-state and team MVP…was a two-time academic all-state honoree in both basketball and volleyball…was a second team Mizuno All-America volleyball player as a senior, leading her high school to a 30-1 record and the school's first state championship in any sport…named the 1995 Colorado Player of the Year in volleyball by both the Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News…earned Gatorade Circle of Champions Player of the Year in Colorado…named to Volleyball Magazine's Fabulous 50 and tabbed a third team All-America by Student Sports magazine.
