O'Keith is one of two freshmen on the Cal women's basketball team…she joins the Bears from Narbonne High School, which was ranked No. 1 in the nation by USA Today throughout the 1999-00 season…knows what it takes to win…expected to bring immediate help to the point guard position…a natural leader, who has outstanding court awareness and makes everyone around her better…quick, aggressive and plays hard all of the time.

High School:
As a senior, helped lead Narbonne to a 34-0 record and the state title, averaging 11 ppg, 8 apg, 5 rpg and 4 spg…named all-league and all-city as a senior…at last year's National Tournament of Champions, hit six three-pointers to help her team win the title…as a junior, paced her team to a 31-2 record and a city championship…also as a junior, was selected her team's Defensive Player of the Year and to the all-tournament team of the Oregon City Tournament…named MVP of the 1997 Watts Summer Games.
