USF Races To 68-44 Win Over Cal

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Sarah Wanless poured in a game-high 25 points and teammate Jamie Shadian's 18 assists set a new school record as the University of San Francisco downed Cal 68-44 this evening. Wanless had a double-double, adding 11 boards to her 25-point effort.

The Dons raced ahead early, taking a 36-17 lead into halftime. USF took advantage of 26 Golden Bear turnovers in the game, outscoring Cal 31-2 on points off turnovers.

With the victory, the Dons improved to 4-1 on the year. Cal, meanwhile, saw its record drop to 1-3.
