One of Cal's co-captains...could possibly become the most versatile gymnast in all of the NCAA. 2003: Was named Inside Gymnastics Magazine Male Gymnast of the Week twice, on February 18th and March 17th...qualified for the NCAA Vault Final and became an All-American in the all-around event with a fifth place finish. A career best 9.300 in the vault, which placed ninth at NCAAs...was named to the 2003 British World Championship team and World University Games team... set personal bests in six different events including horse (9.600), rings (8.650), vault (9.325), parallel bars (9.150), horizontal bars (9.650) and all-around (54.500)...Opened the season with a score of 50.900 in the all-around at the Stanford Open...finish 12th at the Winters Cup with a score of 50.625...Finished second in the all-around and pommel horse February 14th in a meet involving Stanford and Arizona State...set four career bests in pommel horse (9.600), high bar (9.650), and still rings (9.200), in a meet with Air Force Feb. 23rd resulting in a 54.250 all-around score, which at the time was a career bests... equaled his career high on March 1st as the Bears defeated three top ten teams (No. 8 Stanford, No. 5 Michigan, and No. 9 Nebraska) at Stanford...won the high-bar competition against No. 7 Illinois (9.600)...set his current career high in the all-around against No. 6 Iowa of 54.500...at the MPSF championships Eaton finished fourth in the all-around, fifth in the parallel bars, and sixth on the floor exercise in the first night of competition...came back the next night to finish eighth in the parallel-bars and floor.
