An impressive transfer who is in the hunt for starting duties at linebacker because of his great range and fearless style of play...originally signed with Cal a year ago, but needed one class to fulfill Cal entrance requirements so he took care of that issue in the fall and enrolled at Cal last spring...showed solid progress during the spring picking up Cal's defensive system...a hard worker who could develop into an impact player as he gains weight and strength...had one of the fastest times on the Cal team with a 4.32 clocking in the pro shuttle during the spring.

Junior College/High School/Personal: Earned honorable mention All-America honors from JC Gridwire in 1998 after registering 86 tackles and leading the state's linebackers with 5 interceptions...also credited with 7 sacks, 16 quarterback hurries, 13 pass deflections...caused 8 fumbles and recovered 3 others...was the Mt. SAC MVP and the team's Player of the Week five times in the 10-game season...had a pair of monster games with an 18-tackle performance vs. Long Beach CC and a 21-tackle outing vs. El Camino CC...was a unanimous first team Mission Conference selection...ranked among the three most underrated JC recruits in the nation last year by SuperPrep magazine...comes from a winning background as he was on Mt.
