2007: Played in all 13 games with 10 starts at cornerback ... ranked sixth on the team with 54 tackles and third with five pass break-ups ... opened the season with a personal-best 11 tackles and a pass breakup against Tennessee ... intercepted a pass against Louisiana Tech and returned it 37 yards, which led to an ensuing Cal touchdown ... snared another interception the following week against Arizona and returned it 25 yards ... forced a fumble on Oregon State's opening drive (also had two tackles and a pass breakup against the Beavers) ... logged five tackles, a pass breakup and fumble recovery at UCLA ... also returned four punts (for four yards) and had a 29-yard kick return against Louisiana Tech.

2006: An impact player in his first year as a starter for the Bears ... ranked fourth on the team with 63 tackles ... also had a pair of interceptions ... registered a season-best 10 tackles (seven solo) in the win over Oregon State ... snagged an interception on the first play of the Oregon game to set up a quick Cal score as the Bears went on to win big ... collected five tackles and his first career solo sack (for a loss of 11 yards) in the Holiday Bowl win over Texas A&M ... also had nine stops against Minnesota and eight against Arizona State ... credited with six tackles against both USC, Oregon and Tennessee ... also nabbed an interception against the Volunteers.
