High School: Rated as the ninth-best player in Washington by and the sixth-best prospect in the state by SuperPrep, which selected him to the All-Far West team ... all-around athlete who played on offense, defense and in the return game ... several recruiting services listed him among the top 35 defensive back prospects in the country (No. 28 by and No. 34 by ... PrepStar All-American ... despite playing an abbreviated senior year due to injury, still rushed for 451 yards on 52 carries ... had three interceptions as a junior and 10 knockdown tackles that season ... two-time all-conference defensive back ... also earned honorable mention all-league honors as a running back.
