ESPN: It is difficult not to like a player like Kragen as he is your prototypical lunch pail player with a blue collar attitude and high motor ... He is a physical player who is very good at using his hands to take on and shed blockers.

• Father, Greg Kragen, appeared in three Super Bowls and five conference championship games over 13 seasons as an NFL defensive lineman with Denver (1985-93), Kansas City (1994) and Carolina (1995-97), earning All-Pro honors three times (1989, 1991, 1992) and being selected to the Pro Bowl once in 1992 while registering 28.5 career sacks and one interception in 200 games
