SOPHOMORE IN 2004-05: Swedish All-American was an integral member of Cal's sprints and relays...swam third legs on NCAA champion 200- (1:15.78) and 400-freestyle (2:47.70) relays...honorable mention All-American in the 50 (12th in 19.68 at NCAAs) and 100 (11th in 43.34) Pac-10s, was ninth (47.73) with a PR in the 100 fly and fifth (43.29) in the 100 free; swam the second leg of the winning (2:49.77) 400 free relay and anchored the runner-up (3:08.11) 400-medley relay.

FRESHMAN IN 2003-04: All-American anchored Cal's second-place (3:10.68) 400m free relay and swam third on 14th-place (7:16.90) 800m free relay at the 2004 NCAA Championships...scored points at the 2004 Pac-10 Championships, where he placed sixth in the 50 free (19.94), fifth in the 100 free (43.69) and 11th in the 100 butterfly (48.24) and anchored the winning 200 free relay (1:17.23) and swam third on winning 400 free relay (2:52.75).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2003 graduate of Soderslatts Gymnasiet in Trelleborg, Sweden...competed at the 2003 FINA World Championships in Barcelona, Spain and the 2001 FINA World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan for the Swedish national team...also competed in the 2002 World Short Course Championships in Moscow, Russia and the European Short Course Championships in both 2001 (Antwerp, Belgium) and 2002 (Riesa, Germany).

"I came to Cal because it is the best university in the U.S."

"I want to get a great education and help the team to an NCAA title."
