JUNIOR IN 2004-05: A member of the Pac-10 All-Academic First Team...eighth (48.90) in 100 and eighth (1:46.64) in 200 backstrokes at the Pac-10 Championships...second (1:47.76) in 200 back in win over USC...recovered from broken arm suffered in spring of sophomore year.
SOPHOMORE IN 2003-04: Placed ninth (winning the consolation final in 49.70) in the 100 backstroke, eighth (1:47.13) in the 200 back and 24th (1:55.52) in the 200 IM at the 2004 Pac-10 Championships...had the highest GPA (3.71) on the team.
FRESHMAN IN 2002-03: Scored points for Cal at the 2003 Pac-10 Championships, finishing ninth in the 200 back (1:47.96) and 13th in the 100 back (50.60)posted Cal's third-fastest time of the season in the 200 back (1:47.72).
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2002 graduate of Georgetown Prep...four-time high school All-American...set high school records in the 100 and 200 free, 100 back and 100 fly...helped his team to a Metro Swimming Championship in 2002...named 2002 All-Metro Swimmer of the Year...also swam for the Curl-Burke club team...National Honor Society and National French Honor Society member.

"I came to Cal because it has a great academic reputation, a friendly team and awesome swimming program."
What do you plan to accomplish and achieve while at Cal?
"My overall plans are to score at NCAAs and get a broad education that will allow me to expand my mind and prepare me for any obstacle I'll have to overcome later in life."
