JUNIOR IN 2004-05: Pac-10 All-Academic first-team member...fourth (9:13.06) in the 1000 freestyle in dual-meet win over Stanford; his time was Cal's third-fastest last season...fifth in the 500 (4:36.01) and the 1000 (9:26.01) frees in USC win...third (4:39.92) in the 500 free in tri-meet win over UNC and UNLV.

SOPHOMORE IN 2003-04: Scored points for Cal at Pac-10s, placing 12th (15.44.90) in the 1650 free and 31st (1:44.20) in the 200 free.

FRESHMAN IN 2002-03: Scored points for the Bears at Pac-10s, placing seventh in the 1650 free (15:24.15), 10th in the 500 free (4:28.73) and 15th in the 200 free (1:40.94)...time in the 1650 free at the conference meet was Cal's fastest of the season...also swam the Bears' fastest season time in the 1000 free (9:11.82), and third-fastest time in the 500 free (4:27.40).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2002 graduate of Newport Harbor High School...high school team was CIF Southern Section champions in 2002...member of the Irvine Novaquatics club team that earned three straight national team titles...named 2001 USA National Championship Rookie of the Meet where he competed in the 400 free, 800 free and 1500 free...was a 2000 junior national champion in the 800-meter free...best time in high school in the 500 free was 4:26.00.
