SOPHOMORE IN 2003-04: All-American in the 100-meter butterfly, 400-freestyle relay, 200-medley relay and 400-medley relay and honorable mention All-American in the 50 free...at NCAAs, was second in the 100 fly (50.81), swam second leg of runner-up 400-freestyle relay (3:10.68), and swam fly legs of third-place 200- (1:35.02) and fourth-place 400-medley relays (3:30.82)...set Cal, Pac-10 and meet records in the 100-yard fly (45.44) in winning the Pac-10 title.
FRESHMAN IN 2002-03: Swam the second leg on the Bears' 400-free relay team that set new NCAA, U.S. Open and school records (2:48.99) to win the title at the NCAA Championships...also placed second in the 50 free (19.37); his time ranked fourth on Cal's all-time top 10 list...led off Cal's 200 free relay team that took third place (1:17.39) at NCAAs, in which he also placed fourth in the 100 fly (46.41)...swam the fly leg on both the 200- (1:26.10) and 400-medley relays (3:08.68), that finished in fifth and fourth places, respectively, at NCAAs...won the 100 fly Pac-10 title in a conference championship record time of 46.32...also helped Cal win Pac-10 titles in the 200 (1:17.92) and 400 free relays (2:51.43), swimming the leadoff and third legs, respectively...also notched a runner-up finish in the 50 free (19.69) at the Pac-10 meet...his 50-free time at the meet was Cal's second fastest of the season...also swam the Bears' third-fastest time of the season in the 100 free (43.28)...set a school record in the 100 fly (46.10)...named the Dallas Morning News Invitational's Most Outstanding Swimmer after helping Cal to a first-place team finish by virtue of his wins in the 50 free and 100 fly and first leg performances in two relay wins.
INTERNATIONAL: At the 2005 World Championships in Montreal, took 10th in the 50- (24.03) and 100-meter (53.06) butterflies for Serbia & Montenegro...competed in the 2004 Athens Olympics...was the 2000 Yugoslavian champion in the 50-meter free, 100 free, 100 fly and 100 back.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2002 graduate of Tustin High School...won a national title in the 100-meter fly (53.30) and helped capture the 800-meter free relay title (7:44.42) as a member of the Novaquatics Club Team at the 2002 U.S. National Spring Championships...set eight school records...also set four CIF records and one U.S. national high school record in the 50 free (19.69)...earned seven CIF titles during high school...played varsity water polo two years.
