Golden Bears capture three of four heats

California: 2012 (Junior):Part of the varsity eight that took fifth at the NCAA Championships, won the Pac-12 Championship and beat Stanford and Washington.

2011 (Sophomore): Rowed on Cal's varsity 8+ boat that placed fourth at the NCAA Championships, won at the Pac-10 Championships and in the dual meets against Stanford and Washington.

2010 (Freshman): Competed on the junior varsity 8+ that placed third at the NCAA Championships and at the Pac-10 Championships.

Personal: Conservation and Resource studies major... a member of the first-place 8+ at the USRowing Youth National Championships in 2008 and 2009...rowed for four years for the Marin Rowing Association...parents are Brad and Patsy Rippe, who are both Cal graduates...great grandparent also attended Cal...has a younger sister...includes hiking and backpacking as her hobbies...born on Jan. 31, 1991, in Oakland.

The best part about being on Ca crew is: The team, hands down. Great group of committed, driven people. It makes for a great team vibe.
