Hayes finished her senior campaign second on the squad with 48 goals, brining her career total to 108 goals, which is 10th on Cal's all-time scoring list (as of 2008). Earned All-America honors her senior year.

AS A SENIOR (2008):
Was second on the team in scoring with 48 goals, the most scored by her in a year...had a team individual high of five goals versus Arizona State on April 26...scored in 23 out of 29 matches and was one of the leading scorer in 10 games...earned All-America honors being nominated to the second team...named to the All-MPSF academic team and the MPSF All-second team.

AS A JUNIOR (2007):
Second on the team with 32 goals, which was good for 30th in the MPSF...one of the leading scorers in five games, including a season-high four goals against Arizona State (4-7-07)... scored once in the 5-4 overtime upset over Hawaii (2-24-07)...March 13 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Mikasa Player of the Week after pacing the Bears in the 8-6 overtime win over Irvine (3-10-07).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2006):
Scored 17 goals, including a team-high three goals in the Bears' MPSF Tournament match versus Hawaii (4-28-06)...notched a goal against San Diego State in the MPSF Tournament (4-14-06)...led Cal with three goals versus Princeton (3-25-06) and two goals at Stanford (4-2-06)...member of the 2006 MPSF All-Academic team...in summer 2006, was a USWP first-team All-American and the MVP of the Under-20 nationals.

AS A FRESHMAN (2005):
Finished with 11 goals, including three goals against Princeton (2-26-05), two goals against Stanford in the Big Splash (4-23-05) and a goal against San Jose State in the MPSF Tournament first round (4-17-05).

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
At St. Francis High School, was the Co-MVP of the Central Coast Section as a senior...first-team All-Central Coast Section as a junior... helped her team to four straight Central Coast Section titles...member of the USA National Youth Team...majoring in political science... father attended Cal...twin brother Mike was a member of the 2006 and 2007 national champion Cal men's water polo team... parents are Stephen and Michelle Hayes... born May 7, 1986, in Palo Alto, Calif.
