Elsie Windes is eighth on Cal's all-time scoring list with 147 goals in four years. Windes scored two goals at the 2007 Winter Cup and helped Team USA to a gold medal at the Pan American games with four goals and five steals. Windes guided the United States' women's water polo team to a gold medal with an 11-9 victory over Russia at the 2005 FINA Junior World Championships in Perth, Australia. Windes currently lives in Huntington Beach, Calif., and trains with the U.S. national team.

AS A SENIOR (2007): named to the All-MPSF second-team and was a member of the All-MPSF Academic team...scored 23 goals in 18 games played and was one of the leading scorers in seven games...had two season-high four-goal performances against San Jose State on Feb. 10 and then again versus top-ranked ULCA on Feb. 16...spent time training with the U.S. national team during her senior year.

AS A JUNIOR (2006): Was a second-team All-American and first-team All-MPSF...was the Bears' leading scorer with 40 goals, including four goals in the MPSF Tournament and two goals in Cal's 7-6 victory over Arizona State in the tournament's fifth-place match...led the Bears in scoring in 10 matches.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2005): Led the Bears in scoring with 51 goals, earning third-team All-America, second-team All-MPSF and MPSF All-Tournament honors...recorded five goals during the MPSF Tournament, including a team-high two goals in the fifth-place victory over Long Beach State...led Cal in scoring in 11 matches, with an impressive five goals in an overtime victory at San Jose State Apr. 17...was a MPSF All-Academic selection.

AS A FRESHMAN (2004): Was honorable mention All-American, Cal's first true freshman to ever be selected as an honorable mention All-American...was also named second-team All-MPSF and was a member of the MPSF All-Freshman Team...scored five goals during the 2004 MPSF Tournament, including a team-high two goals in versus UCLA Apr. 30...was second on the team in scoring with 33 goals and was the team's leading scorer in seven matches.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: At Beaverton High School was a three-time all-league selection, a two-time Metro League MVP and the 2003 Oregon State MVP...helped her team to the 2003 Oregon state title...was a three-year member of the National Youth Team...competed four years on the varsity swim team, placing third in the state in the 50 free (24.81) as a senior...majoring in interdisciplinary studies...parents are Doug and Betty Windes...born June 17, 1985 in Portland, Ore.
