A big open-court hitter in singles who brings powerful strength to the top of the lineup...very strong doubles player as well...may solidify the lineup and has the potential to have championship-calibur seasons.
Fall 2006: Qualified for the Indoor Championships after winning the singles crown in the ITA Northwest Regional, defeating four Stanford players in the final four rounds...in the semifinals, defeated No. 3 ranked Theresa Logar of Stanford, 6-4, 2-6, 7-5, and in the final, knocked off Stanford's Jessica Nguyen, 7-5, 6-4...started the campaign with three wins in the Cal Invitational, before falling to teammate Zsuzsanna Fodor in the semifinals... found a lot of success in doubles with partner Daron Moore, finishing 9-2, winning seven of its first eight matches...won the Saint Mary's Invitational doubles draw, beating two Gaels' tandems on their home court in the semifinals and the final ...advanced to the final of the Cal Invitational doubles tournament before losing to Susie Babos and Fodor, 8-0.
High School: Ranked No.36 by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) among all girls 18 and under (G18) in 2005...advanced to the G18 singles semifinals of the 2005 U.S. Open in Flushing, N.Y...won the G18 doubles title and reached the G18 singles quarterfinals in the BMW Open in Luxembourg...reached the G18 semifinals of the European Junior Individual Closed Championships in Klosters, Switzerland...won the G18 singles title at Italy's 13th Citta di Prato...advanced to the G18 quarterfinals of the French Riviera Open.
