Member of the U.S. gold-medal team in Atlanta in 1996 as the backup a freshman at Cal in '83, Harvey was a starter on Cal team that finished fifth in the NCAA Tournament. Led team to three additional NCAA playoff appearances. In 1984, was named the NCAA All-Tournament goalkeeper. Selected to the All-West team in 1985. In 1986 was the National Goalkeeper of the year. Has a total of 27 "caps" for U.S. national team appearances during her career (beginning in 1989 at age of 24) and has maintained a 0.65 goals-against average as a national team goalie...played semi-professional soccer in Frankfurt, Germany in 1989 and '90...member of the '86 Gold Medal winning Olympic Festival women's soccer team...In 1991, Harvey was the starting goalkeeper on championship Women's World Cup U.S. National Team...has four individual record highs at Cal: career saves (156 from 1983-86), saves in a game (12 vs. No. Carolina 11/1/84), season saves (71 in 1986), and shutouts in a season (9 in 1984) and is the former leader in shutouts with 20...graduated from Cal in 1986.
