Mari Andersson enters her first season with the Golden Bears as an undergraduate assistant.

Fall 2010: Received career-high No. 16 singles ranking in preseason ITA poll... advanced to singles round of 16 at Riviera/ITA All-American Championships, USTA/ITA Northwest Regional, and USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships... won Cal Nike Invitational title with Jana Juricova... advanced to doubles semifinal of Riviera/ITA All-American Championship... won USTA/ITA Northwest Regional doubles championship... advanced to doubles semifinal of USTA/ITA National Indoor Championship.

2009-10: Completed junior season with 33-10 singles record (23-2 in duals)... named to the Pac-10 All-Conference second team... selected for Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention... advanced to singles semifinal at Pac-10 championships... advanced to singles round of 32 in NCAA championships... advanced to round of 16 of NCAA doubles championships with Jana Juricova... held a then career-high No. 26 singles ranking as she advanced to the Wilson/ITA Northwest Regional Championship singles quarterfinal... advanced to the Cal Nike Invitational Gold singles quarterfinal... ranked No. 2 in doubles with partner Jana Juricova and advanced to the Cal Nike Invitational Gold doubles final... runner-up for Wilson/ITA Northwest Regional Championship doubles title... earned two victories in the doubles back-draw at the ITA National Indoor Championship.

2008-09: Received a then career-high No. 35 ranking on April 21, as a sophomore... named ITA All-American in doubles and selected as the ITA Northwest Region Player to Watch... earned NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship All-Tournament Team honors at No. 1 doubles with partner Jana Juricova after winning the 2009 NCAA doubles championship... selected to the Pac-10 All-Conference second team... named to the ITA National Team Indoor Championship All-Tournament Team at the third singles court... selected Pac-10 Player of the Week (Feb. 16)... posted a career-high eight-match singles winning streak from Feb. 6-Mar. 7, as she defeated three ranked singles players... established a 25-6 overall singles record with a perfect 8-0 mark in Pac-10 dual matches... 11 of her singles victories came against ranked opponents... went 25-5 in doubles matches with Juricova with a perfect 8-0 mark in individual tournament matches... held an 11-match doubles winning streak and finished the season ranked No. 3 in the nation among doubles teams.

Personal/Previous: Born in Seoul, Korea... parents are Bertil and Birgitta Andersson... holds 21 Swedish Championships; 10 singles,10 doubles and one team...represented Sweden in Fed Cup play.
