Iron Lion Zion:
One of Jace Williams' favorite types of music is reggae, and not just because it is her namesake. She inherited her taste in music from her mother, who came up with middle name Marlee for her first-born daughter. Jace notes that 95 percent of the music on her iPod is reggae.

Island Fever:
It's no wonder that Jace Williams has a predilection for reggae music. Half of her family has lived on the island of Maui for 15 years.

Why I Have My Number:
"When I was younger, I was really into soccer and wanted to be like Mia Hamm. So I copied her and chose 9 because that was her jersey number."

My Walk-Up Songs Are:
""Fortunate Son" by Creedence Clearwater Revival because this song is so American and classic I absolutely love it. "Forest Gump" is one of my favorite movies and this song played during one of my favorite scenes. "World A Reggae" by Ini Kamoze is my other song. I am a true Rastafarian at heart, and reggae music is my favorite genre. A lot of the reggae that I like is too mellow for an at bat song so I picked this one by Ini Kamoze because his songs are a little more upbeat than a lot of the other reggae artists I like. Bob Marley is a legend, and no one will ever be as good as he was, I just need to throw that one out there."
