Stalter has been one of the top players in the nation since the beginning of the 2012-13 campaign, co-leading all active Cal players along with Brandon Hagy with three individual medalist honors among his career 14 top-five and 18 top-10 finishes which both rank second on the team to Hagy’s numbers. The Byron Nelson Award national finalist and first-team All-Pac-12 pick has been Cal’s top finisher 12 times in his career, including seven of the team’s last nine events heading into 2014 NCAA Regional player, to lead active Cal players. He also has the squad’s second-best stroke average in 2013-14 at 71.61 and is coming off his best showing ever at the Pac-12 Championship in 2013 when he tied for fourth. In 2012-13, he was a second-team All-American and All-America Scholar as a junior. In between, he played for Team Europe at the Palmer Cup. Off the course, he is a two-time honorable mention Pac-12 All-Academic selection who is on track to earn his bachelor’s degree from Cal’s Haas School of Business in May of 2014.
