GENERAL: A transfer from Cal Poly who was a welcome addition as a 2011-12 junior and is in what may be his final season at Cal in 2012-13 ... has enormous potential ... great length from tee to green who uses that length to his advantage with solid fundamentals around the green ... an excellent wedge player ... streaky putter ... creative player who loves to pull off different shots ... an aggressive player who is working on his consistency and needs to learn to manage his game more effectively ... a hard worker who vies to be in the team's top five week in and week out.

2011-12 (AS A JUNIOR): Earned a first-year `Big C' award ... played in eight stroke-play events and 24 rounds, averaging 73.1 strokes per round on 1,755 shots ... had a 2-3 match-play record, going 1-2 at Del Walker Match Play Championship and 1-1 at NCAA Championship ... ranked No. 163 nationally by Golfweek and No. 266 according to Golfstat in their final player rankings of the season ... posted his top finish at Cal when he tied for fifth while playing as an individual at ASU Thunderbird Invitational (70-67-71 - 208, -5), with his second-round four-under par 67 also the best round of his Cal career and tied for the lowest in his collegiate career ... tied for 13th at Golfweek Conference Challenge (70-72-76 - 218, +2) ... tied for 18th twice at Wolverine Intercollegiate (71-74-71 - 216, +3) and John A. CAREER - Had the third-lowest career stroke average (minimum 40 rounds) at Cal Poly after two seasons with a 73.1 mark on 3,759 shots over 51 rounds and 17 events ... had five top-10 finishes and placed in the top 20 nine times ... had 14 rounds under par, including five that were lower than 70 ... had top score on his team in five events.
2010-11 (AS A SOPHOMORE) - Finished third on the squad with a 74.4 stroke average that was the 13th-best on the school's all-time list at the end of 2010-11, registering 1,934 shots over nine events and 26 rounds ... finished in the top 10 twice by tying for fourth in his best collegiate finish at Lamkin Grip Challenge (72-72 - 144) and tying for sixth at Folino Invitational (72-75-69 - 216) to lead the Mustangs to team wins in both events, with his lone round of the season under 70 in the final round of the latter ... had three other top-20 finishes, tying for 13th at Firestone Grill Cal Poly (72-71-77 - 220), tying for 14th at Big West Conference Championship (75-73-78 - 226) and tying for 16th at Palouse Cougar Collegiate (74-70-70 - 214) when he posted the top score on his team for the only time ... tied for 28th at Anteater Invitational (76-75-75 - 226) ... tied for 36th at Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate (72-76-80 - 228) ... tied for 48th at Saint Mary's Invitational (76-74-78 - 228) ... tied for 57th at Braveheart Classic (82-74-76 - 232) ... had seven rounds under par, including his season-low 69 in the final round of Folino Invitational.
2009-10 (AS A FRESHMAN) - Big West Freshman of the Year and a second-team all-conference selection while registering the top numbers of his two-year stop at Cal Poly, posting 1,825 shots over 25 rounds and eight events for a team-low 73.0 stroke average that at the time was the eighth-best in school history (minimum 20 rounds) ... had a team-high-tying seven rounds under par including a team-high-tying four in the 60's and all four rounds of his Cal Poly career that were 68 or better ... tied for second three times, including each of his last two events of the season at Big West Conference Championship (68-74-76 - 218) and Cal State Bakersfield Spring Invitational (70-70-75 - 215), as well at Firestone Grill College Invitational (72-71-68 - 211) hosted by Cal Poly ... his opening-round 68 tied for the lowest round of the tournament at Big West Conference Championship ... tied for ninth in his collegiate debut in a dual match with Cal State Bakersfield (76) ... tied for 14th at Lexus Classic (72-72-72 - 216) ... tied for 21st at Giustina Memorial Classic (75-79-67 - 221) with the final round 67 the lowest score of his Cal Poly career and tied for the lowest in his collegiate career ... tied for 26th at Del Walker Intercollegiate (72-68-71 - 211) ... 40th at Anteater Invitational (76-73-73 - 222) ... tied for 75th at Saint Mary's Invitational (74-82-79 - 235) ... had top score on his team in four events (Firestone Grill College Invitational, Del Walker Intercollegiate, Lexus Classic, Big West Conference Championship).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Clovis West High School ... led his team to a Southern Section title as a sophomore in 2007, a pair of Valley crowns (2008, `09) and Tri-River League titles in each of his four prep seasons (2006, '07, '08, '09) ... a two-time All-City selection in 2008 and 2009 ... a four-year letterwinner ... also participated in soccer during his first prep season.

What sets Cal golf apart from other collegiate golf programs is ... our ability to keep each other in a positive mood no matter what the situation is ... I believe someone even commented to me at the Isleworth tournament during my first season that our team always looks like we are having a great time and that is exactly how I feel
My favorite golf movie is ... Caddyshack
My ultimate SportsCenter highlight would be ... eagling the last hole on the final hole in the final group to win by one stroke
I would like to be remembered at Cal for ... winning a national championship
