Worstell began the 2014 season looking to challenge for playing time at an outside receiver position in his third season with the program but was moved to safety during training camp. He was an honorable mention All-East Bay selection as a 2011 senior, catching 42 passes for 742 yards and a team-high nine touchdowns for a squad that finished 10-4 overall and advanced to the North Coast Section championship game before falling to eventual California Open Division Bowl champ De La Salle.
