2012: Started 19 of 20 games on the year…tallied one assist on the year…registered two defensive saves, including one against Northwestern on Aug. 27.

2011: Was named to the All-Tournament Team for her efforts in helping the team win the NorPac Championship...started all 20 games for the Bears, playing 1267 minutes (fourth on the team)...took four shots, including a pair in the NorPac tournament and a shot at Pacific.

2010: Played in 18 of the 19 games, notching an assist against UC Davis (9/5).

High School: Named the CIF Division II, All-County and Western League Player of the Year her senior MVP her senior year as the captain...made the All-CIF Western League and the All-CIF Division II first team...played on the Field Hockey Futures California Nationals Tournament team... three-time CIF Western League champions and two-time CIF Division II team won the Cal Cup twice and two times were the runner-ups in the National Field Hockey Festival...also competed in basketball and lacrosse at Scripps Ranch High School, and was recruited by numerous schools to play basketball after she was named the MVP of her team her senior year.

Personal: Born on Jan. 9, 1992, in San Diego, Calif....parents are Barry and Karen Swartz...grandfather and uncle also attended Cal...father, Barry, played water polo at UC Santa Barbara...has an older brother, Logan, who competes on the sailing team at UC Santa Barbara...hobbies including surfing and scuba diving...this past spring, went scuba diving in Belize and went on a Mayan ruin and cave exploration in Guatemala...environmental sciences major.
